VAF 2026 Annual Meeting

2026 Conference Schedule

The following is a working schedule. Timings are subject slight changes so please refer to the final published program the week of May 27-30.

The Marcus Whitman Hotel in Walla Walla is the conference's home base. Registration, bus departures, and the paper sessions will held there. The Saturday evening Annual Meeting and Banquet will be held at the Motor Co., just 2 blocks south of the hotel at 11 North Colville Street, Walla Walla.

Wednesday, May 27: Board Meeting, Arrivals

Marcus Whitman Hotel, 6 West Rose Street, Walla Walla, Washington.

Board Meeting: 8:30 - 4 pm

Registration: 1 - 5 pm

Informal Wine Reception: Local winery tasting room will be open in the Marcus Whitman Hotel for early arrivals. Cash bar. Time tbd.

Dinner on your own.

Note: Plenary session is Thursday night. There are not organized conference events Wednesday May, 27.

Thursday, May 28 - Bus Tours

7:00 - 8:00 am Continental Breakfast at Marcus Whitman Hotel for all tour participants.
6:30 - 8:30 am Registration.
Buses load and depart from in front of the Marcus Whitman Hotel.
Departure Times are selected on the registration form.
Both tours include a boxed lunch and conclude with heavy appetizers / drinks at the plenary session held at the Gesa Powerhouse Theatre.
Dinner on your own after the plenary.

Friday, May 29 - Hanford Bus Tour

6:30 - 8:30 am Registration.
